There are serious concerns over the lack of training and regulations with meth testing and clean-up companies and we couldn’t agree more! Anyone can claim to be a meth tester despite having no training or expertise in this complex and growing sector. Despite new national standards due to be put in place next month, the certification will not be compulsory for meth testing or clean-up companies. Consumer NZ has labelled the sector as a “cowboy industry” and unfortunately we couldn’t agree more as we see a significantly high number of meth testing companies not only use poor sampling techniques but they also give poor advice.
